Updates
What’s new in every app, by date. Updates arrive on their own: the app offers to install them.
- Scrolling capture works upwards too — handy for chats; the direction is picked by itself.
- Copy a scrolling capture right away: ⌘C, no Done and no editor.
- Shotlark can uninstall itself, with or without your capture history (menu → «Uninstall Shotlark…»).
- The pinned window (📌 «Keep on top») shows on every desktop and over apps in full screen.
- Switching to Note Calc with ⌘Tab brings back a closed window instead of leaving an empty app.
- The notes window opens on the desktop you are on instead of taking you to the one where it was left.
- The formatting bar has a new look, like in Google Docs: buttons sit in rounded groups and show icons instead of letters. Clicking «A» colors the text with the color picked last (shown by the bar under the letter); the arrow next to it opens the palette. Scrolled text fades out under the bar. In a narrow window the bar stays on one line: buttons that do not fit go under «⋯».
- The interface has no thin dividing lines anymore: the sidebar, tabs, totals bar, settings and input fields are set apart by soft fills and rounded corners.
- You can remove Note Calc from your Mac right inside the app: Note Calc menu → «Uninstall Note Calc…» or Settings → Help. The app goes to the Trash along with its settings and license (the «Keep my data» checkbox keeps them). Your notes in Documents → Note Calc stay.
- Настройки → О программе → «Лицензия»: Dictum сейчас в бете, всё бесплатно. Там же — поле для лицензионного ключа на будущее и с какого дня ты с нами.
- Плашка записи встряхивается и предупреждает, если во время диктовки курсор ушёл из поля ввода или ты перешёл в другое приложение: текст в таком случае не вставится. Вернёшь курсор — предупреждение пропадёт.
- Настройки → О программе → «Что нового»: вся история изменений по версиям, как в меню Dictum.
- Обновления: раз в день Dictum проверяет, нет ли новой версии, и показывает её вместе с новостями — ставится одной кнопкой. Во время записи окно не появится, подождёт. Проверить вручную — меню Dictum → «Проверить обновления…»; выключить — Настройки → О программе.
- Новый вид macOS 26: стеклянные панели и «парящая» боковая панель в Настройках, как у Системных настроек.
- Окно «Что нового» после обновления, а вся история изменений — в меню Dictum → «Что нового…».
- Настройки → О программе → «Лицензия»: Textum сейчас в бете, всё бесплатно. Там же — поле для лицензионного ключа на будущее и с какого дня ты с нами.
- Отчёты об ошибках теперь доходят из любой страны, включая Россию: они идут через мой сервер. Включаются и выключаются, как раньше, в настройках.
- Окно «Что нового» теперь появляется и после первого обновления — раньше, если Textum поставили недавно, оно пропускалось.
- Обновления: раз в день Textum проверяет, нет ли новой версии, и показывает её вместе с новостями — ставится одной кнопкой. Пока открыта панель действий, окно не появится. Проверить вручную — меню Textum → «Проверить обновления…»; выключить — Настройки → О программе.
- Отчёты об ошибках по согласию: если что-то сломалось, разработчик получит технический отчёт (модель Mac, версии, состояние приложения, журнал работы). Твои тексты, запросы и ответы ИИ туда не попадают. Включаются на первом шаге знакомства или в Настройках → Общие.
- Знакомство при первом запуске по шагам: разрешения, ключ Claude (можно обойтись моделью Apple) и горячие клавиши с проверкой. Пройти заново — в Настройках → Общие.

- Error reports now arrive from any country, including Russia: they go through my own server. You turn them on or off in Settings, as before.
- The What's New window now also appears after the first update — before, if Cliplark had been installed recently, it was skipped.
- Updates on their own: once a day Cliplark looks for a new version and shows what's new in it, but installs it only when you agree. To check by hand — Cliplark menu → “Check for Updates…” or Settings → About; the automatic check can be turned off there too. The App Store version keeps updating through the App Store.
- The app keeps a log of its work, which makes it easier to find out what went wrong. What you copy — texts, images, file names, addresses — never goes into it.
- Error reports, only with your consent: if something breaks, the developer gets a technical report (Mac model, versions, app state, the work log). What you copied is never part of it. Turn them on in Settings → General.
- Settings → About → «License»: Shotlark is in beta now, everything is free. There's also a field for a license key for later, and the day you joined.
- Welcome tour: Screen Recording is allowed the same way as in my other apps — a row with its status and an «Allow» button; the buttons at the bottom no longer touch the edge.

- Settings → Help → «License»: if the saved key no longer works, you can see why — expired, revoked or meant for another app. From there you can remove it, paste a new one or buy a license.
- Note Calc now needs macOS 15 or later.
